Modalities

We utilize several non invasive, yet effective modalities designed to fit your individual needs. These treatments compliment chiropractic manipulation and the healing process; helping to benefit from sports injuries to chronic pain. These therapies include Low level cold laser therapy (LLLT), Active release technique (ART), ConnecTX instrument assisted soft tissue therapy, Theraputic rehabilatative exercises, Balance training, Kinesio taping, Ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and pain and inflammation reducing nutrition.

Low level Cold

Laser Therapy

Erchonia low level cold laser therapy assists several ways in the healing process. It has been shown to help with:

Pain relief documented 59% decrease in pain

Increases range of motion

Strengthens the immune system by increasing lymphocyte activity and increases glutathione production

Speeds healing and recovery

Increases ATP production

Decreases inflammation and

edema

Applied Kinesiology

The office uses diagnostic muscle testing in the form of applied kinesiology. Muscle testing is a kinesiological technique that is designed to access the energetic anatomy of the body via specific anatomical including acupuncture points, acupressure points, organ anatomy and spinal levels. By doing this we can test the energetic balance and connection of the point being tested and determine if corrections are needed. With the understanding that structural, chemical and or emotional imbalances can affect the health and function of the system, a deeper level of detection of causes of imbalance can be found.

Other Office Modalities

Intersegmental traction

Ultrasound

Electrical stimulation

Theraputic exercises

Active Release technique

ConnecTX is an advanced instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) therapy developed to enhance the chiropractic manipulation by increasing healing, improving flexibility, and fascial range of motion. Fascia is the connective tissue that connects every cell in the ?body. this tissue is a healing strategy used by the body in an attempt to stabilize injuries or repetitive stress. An increase in fascial adhesions produce stiffness, altered joint and muscle range of motion and pain. Ask the office if you may fit the criteria for continuing research study we are doing with this technique.

Custom Fit Orthotics

Support of the body starts from the ground up. It has been estimated that 80% of the population over the age of twenty have fallen or dropped arches. The use of orthotics have been shown to help with many localized foot and ankle complaints and with the whole skeleton by balancing the skeletal ? system. Uses of orthotics include:

  • Foot pain
  • Heel pain
  • Shin splints
  • Knee pain
  • Hip and low back pain
  • Postural corrections?
