Wellness is something that we all want and should strive for. Our body is designed to be well and will keep fighting for us if we give it a few simple things. Food, water, sleep, and love. Despite knowing this many still don't get enough. Most of us are are over tired, dehydrated and don't even come close to the amount of vegetables we need on a daily basis.

We live wonderful time, where with the world at our fingertips. Science continues to make advances in the fields of medicine and understanding the body. Foods from all around the world are available every season. Even with this globalization we still not meeting our body's requirements. This combined with the increased chemical and electromagnetic toxicity of our environment has increased the demands on an already taxed system.

Spinal wellness and Chiropractic care

How often do you change the oil in your car? How often are we supposed to brush our teeth? When are taxes due? These are all questions that are imprinted into most of our brains. Restrictions or subluxations in the spinal joints can produce a sympathetic response in the nervous system. This response can alter the functioning of many tissues including organs.

A sympathetic response is the also called the fight or flight response. During this the body's primary objective is survival. This was relevant if being chased by something higher up on the food chain than us. During this response the body's maintenance of repair, immune and digestion suspended until the danger is gone. In today's high stress world we are not typically in life threatening danger, however our body reacts as if it was. Prolonged stress produces an imbalance that can eventually lead to immune, digestion and organ problems.?
